Portland’s Nick Hauger Takes Home WCC Runner of the Week

Preseason All-American Hauger Led The Pilots To A Third Place Finish In Wisconsin

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference has announced its Men’s Runner of the Week for the week of October 1. 
 
WEST COAST CONFERENCE RUNNER OF THE WEEK – NICK HAUGER, SR., – PORTLAND
Senior Nick Hauger led the No. 3 Portland men to a third place finish in Wisconsin at the Nuttycombe Invite on Friday. Hauger hung with the top pack the entire race and crossed the finish line in sixth place with a time of 23:24.0.
 
The Preseason USTFCCCA All-American’s time was the fastest men’s individual mark at the Nuttycombe in WCC history, and also marked the third straight year with a WCC runner finishing in the top-10 at the event.
