SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the fourth time this season, San Diego swept the Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Players of the Week. Credit Union 1 Offensive Player of the Week accolades went to Samy Kanaan after he scored the eventual WCC-Championship clinching goal in USD's 1-0 win at LMU last Saturday. The Credit Union 1 WCC Defensive Player of the Week was awarded to Ethan Warne for defending the back line for all 90 minutes against a tough Lions' offense.
USD also swept the weekly awards on Sept. 2, Sept. 9 and Oct. 28.
CREDIT UNION 1 WCC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – SAMY KANAAN, JR., F – SAN DIEGO
Samy Kanaan scored the game-winning goal for San Diego in their 1-0 victory over LMU last Saturday. Kanaan's ninth goal of the season helped the Toreros capture their third consecutive WCC championship. He finished the regular season tied for second in goals scored and third in points among West Coast Conference competitors. This is the fourth time Kanaan has won this award this season.

CREDIT UNION 1 WCC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ETHAN WARNE, SR., D – SAN DIEGO
Ethan Warne helped the Toreros earn a 1-0 shutout as he played all 90 minutes in the team's victory over LMU last Saturday night. Warne helped the Toreros pick up their fourth clean sheet in Conference play as a constant presence for San Diego all season. This is Warne's first Conference weekly award this season.
