Head Coach David Noble enters his fourth season at the helm at USF and has been instrumental in the turnaround of the women's volleyball program. Coach Noble led the Lady Dons to 12 wins in 2000, falling only one victory short of matching the 1987 and 1988 squads for the program??s highest win total over a two-year period.

Before taking the job at USF, Noble was the head coach at New Mexico State where he led the Aggies to their first-ever Big West Tournament appearance in 1997. Prior to that Noble served as the top assistant on the UC Santa Barbara staff and earned a reputation as a top recruiter.
