Gonzaga Head Coach Kelly Graves
On Shannon Mathews:
If it were up to Shannon, she will be playing tomorrow. Either way she is going to lie to me. We will have to see how she is feeling tomorrow.
Gonzaga Anne Bailey
On playing in the championship:
We are going to go out there and do what we did today, play hard, and hopefully come up with a win.
Pepperdine Head Coach Julie Rousseau
On the game:
Unfortunately we didn't come up with a win. We played exceptionally hard.
Having one of our best players, Kelsey Ball, fouled out with 13 minutes left, That hurts. That's one less girl on the court.
On Jennifer Lacy:
Jen has tremendous talent. She has learned so much in a year. The sky is the limit for her.
Pepperdine Jennifer Lacy
On the game:
We were confident when we went up, but we ran into foul trouble and that really hurt us.
On Gonzaga rallying in the second half:
When we went up by five I hoped that we could come up with a win, but it just didn't happen that way.
