NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championships Kickoff on Thursday, November 18th The NCAA Division I Men's Soccer Championships will begin on Thursday, November 18th. The teams will be vying for the right to compete at the 2010 NCAA Men's College Cup December 10th and 12th in Santa Barbara, California, at Meredith Field at Harder Stadium.
The West Coast Conference Champion Santa Clara University men's soccer team drew Sacramento State University in first round play of the 2010 NCAA College Cup tournament. The match will be played at Sacramento State's Hornet Soccer Field on Thursday, November 18th at 2 p.m. PT. The winner will move on to face national No. 8 seed UCLA Sunday, November 21st at 5 p.m PT.

| - Gonzaga ended their season with a 2-0 loss to West Coast Conference co-champion Santa Clara University Sunday at Buck Shaw Stadium.
- Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Ryan Caballero played the first half and redshirt sophomore goalkeeper Jeff Renslo the second half for the Bulldogs, each keeper making a pair of saves. Caballero's 91 saves this season tied him for second with Mike McCarthy on the single-season list and was also first in the WCC.
- The Bulldogs were strong on youth this season as four true freshmen each started nine or more matches and three of them had 13 or more starts each. Gonzaga also had a pair of redshirt freshmen start nearly every match, including Caballero who started 18 of 19 matches.
- Junior Collin Flynn won the scoring title for the Bulldogs with a team-leading four goals and an assist for nine points. Senior Philippe Garre paced the Bulldogs with five assists, which was third in the Conference.
