Overall Record: 4-15-0 WCC Record: 1-11-0

• Gonzaga had a team record nine players receive mention on the All-West Coast Conference teams, including second team redshirt-senior Stefan Thor Eysteinsson.

• Ryan Caballero, Greg Carter and Nick Hamer were named to the All-Freshman Team. Seniors Philippe Garre, Collin Harrison and Nick Love; junior Colin Flynn, and freshmen James Partee and Hamer were also accorded honorable mention recognition.

• Flynn paced the team in goals with four and added an assist for a team-high nine points. Eysteinsson had three goals and an assist for seven points and Garre had a goal and a team-high five assists for seven points.

• The Gonzaga men's soccer team was honored by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America for academic excellence. The Bulldogs men's soccer team posted a 3.20 team GPA, which was the highest cumulative GPA in the WCC.

• Loyola Marymount concluded the season tied atop the WCC standings with Santa Clara. The Lions totaled 25 points, posted 12 victories during the regular season, and clinched a share of the team's first WCC title in program history.

• Junior Roger Downes was named the West Coast Conference Defender of the Year to highlight eight LMU players on the All-WCC teams. Downes was also placed on the All-WCC First Team along with senior Rafael Baca while junior Artur Jozkowicz and sophomore David Ponce earned Second Team honors.

• Baca was selected to the TopDrawerSoccer.com National Team of the Season and became the fourth player in LMU history to be named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-America team, earning a place on the Third Team.

• Baca and Downes garnered places on the NSCAA All-Far West Region teams. Baca was named to the First Team while Downes earned a spot on the Third Team.

• Freshman Steven Evans became the first Portland men's soccer player since Michael Gavin in 2004 to be named West Coast Conference Freshman of the Year. Evans was also one of 24 players called to the U.S. U-20 Men's National Team camp, which is currently being held in Sunrise, Fla.

• Six Pilots received All-WCC recognition and two found themselves on the all-freshman team.

• Senior goalkeeper Austin Guerrero and his classmate, Jarad vanSchaik, were joined by junior Ryan Kawulok on the All-WCC first team, while senior Ryan Luke and Evans were named to the second team.

• Evans headlines the all-freshman team, with teammate Thomas Iwasaki also earning a nod. Connor Barbaree earned honorable mention honors. During conference play, Evans was second on the team with three goals. Overall, Evans finished with four goals and a team-high four assists.

• Junior goalkeeper Doug Herrick and redshirt senior midfielder Dylan Leslie earned spots on the NSCAA Far West Regional Third-Team. Of the 33 student-athletes honored, eight hailed from the West Coast Conference.

• The Gaels had six individuals earn All-West Coast Conference honors. Leslie earned First-Team honors for the third-time in his career and ends his Gael career as a four-time all-conference honoree. Second-Team honors included Herrick and Malcolm Alugas.

• Senior defender Jordan Grider and sophomore defender Trevor Newquist earned Honorable Mention honors while sophomore defender Patrick Watson was selected to the WCC All-Freshman team.

• The Gaels finished the year with a 10-8-1 record and a 6-6 conference mark. The 10 wins tied the school record for wins, also set during the 2009 season.

• Sophomore forward Patrick Wallen was named the 2010 West Coast Conference Player of the Year. Wallen was San Diego's second consecutive WCC Player of the Year after Ryan Peterman won the honor last season.

• Wallen was tied for 12th in the nation with 12 goals, 17th with a 0.63 goals per game average and was tied for 30th in the NCAA with 1.32 points per game.

• Senior defender Cory Norris also earned First Team All-WCC along with Wallen. Junior midfielder Stephen Posa earned Second Team All-WCC honors.

• Earning Honorable Mention was senior forward Marcelo Carminatti, sophomore midfielder Dan Delgado, and sophomore midfield Christian Duke. Rounding out the list was defender Eli Galbraith-Knapp, who earned All-Freshman Team WCC honors.

• San Francisco ended the season on a high note by taking down WCC co-champion Loyola Marymount 1-0 on Sunday afternoon at Sullivan Field. The Dons placed four men's soccer players on the 2010 All-West Coast Conference Team.

• Senior defender Justin Warren captured first team honors in his first all-league selection, while senior forward Bryan Burke and senior midfielder Victor Cortez earned second team honors.

• Burke made his third consecutive appearance on the All-WCC Second Team. The 2010 WCC Preseason All-WCC selection finished his career with six goals, 13 assists and 25 points.

• Freshman midfielder Vegard Karlsen was named honorable mention and also made the all-freshman team.

• Santa Clara fell 2-1 in the first round of the 2010 NCAA College Cup tournament at Sacramento State on Thursday, November 18th. Junior forward Eric Masch scored the equalizer for the Broncos in the 58th minute, but the Hornets came through with the game-winner with four minutes left.

• Head coach Cameron Rast was named the 2010 West Coast Conference Coach of the Year. It marks the fourth time in nine seasons Rast has earned the WCC Coach of the Year award.

• Junior defender Mykell Bates and sophomore forward Erik Hurtado were named to the 2010 All-West Coast Conference First Team while junior midfielder Brandon Zimmerman garnered second team honors.

• Keigo Kameya and Mark Daus were All-WCC Freshman Team picks. Junior midfielder Murphy Campbell, redshirt sophomore defender Wesley Culver, redshirt junior goalkeeper Kevin Klasila and Masch were named honorable mentions.
