SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2013-14 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic Team. The list is headlined by three Capital One Academic All-America selections: Pepperdine's Malte Kramer, Portland's Thomas van der Mars and Saint Mary's Beau Levesque. In addition, San Diego's Johnny Dee was a District 8 Academic first team pick.

Four student-athletes appear on the squad for the second year: Dee, Levesque, Nicholas and van der Mars. For seniors Levesque and Nicholas, it marks their third consecutive selection to the list.

At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
