SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Pacific senior midfielder Camden Riley has been named the West Coast Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.
The honor is the second consecutive for Riley after the senior also took home the award last week.
Riley continued to roll this week with two goals to extend his scoring streak to four games with goals against Loyola Marymount and San Diego.
On Friday, Riley scored his seventh of the year as well as his third game-winner of the season when he was on the end of a pass from Jonathan Jimenez. Riley took four shots in the match, each of which were on target. Against San Diego, Riley tied the game at 1-1 when he benefitted again from flowing attacking movement from the Tigers. Cory Wright played a pass to Riley who shot the ball into the ground and bounced it into the net.
Riley now had eight goals on the season, which was tied for third most in the Conference at the end of Sunday’s match.
