Kelsey Turnbow Named WCC Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara junior forward Kelsey Turnbow has been named the West Coast Conference Women’s Soccer Player of the Week, the conference office announced Monday.

Kelsey Turnbow had a big hand in a pair of Bronco wins last week, scoring a pair of goals in games against Pepperdine and Gonzaga.

She started off by scoring the second goal of the night on a perfectly placed shot from outside the box in the Broncos 4-3 three goal second half comeback against Pepperdine. She followed it up with the only goal of the match at Gonzaga on Saturday.

The win is the first for a Bronco this season.
