Harding and James Earn WCC Weekly Honors

SAN MATEO, Calif. – BYU senior Paisley Harding led BYU to a pair of wins to claim WCC Player of the Week while Anaya James of Pacific set several career highs to earn her first WCC Freshman of the Week honor.

BYU senior Paisley Harding led BYU to wins over Arizona State and Boise State, averaging 18.5 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.0 assists. Against Arizona State, Harding scored a season-high 25 points on 8 of 15 shooting from the field. In the victory over Boise State, Harding registered 12 points, four rebounds and three steals to lead BYU to a 44-point victory, 84-40.

#WCCSPORTS FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – ANAYA JAMES, FR., G – PACIFIC
Anaya James averaged 14.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 7.0 assists and 2.0 steals as Pacific split a pair of games against CSU Bakersfield and San Jose State. The freshman guard set new career highs with 20 points, seven rebounds and 10 assists in the Tigers’ win over CSU Bakersfield. She leads the Tigers in assists and is second in both scoring and rebounds.
