SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2020-21 West Coast Conference Men's Basketball All-Academic Team. The list is highlighted by four student-athletes making repeat all-academic team appearances.
Gonzaga’s
Corey Kispert, an AP First Team All-American and a Academic All-American First Team selection, earned his third and final selection to the all-academic first team. The WCC Player of the Year led Gonzaga to the 2021 NCAA Title game and posted a remarkable record of 126-11 in a Zag uniform – the winningest player in college basketball in the last 25 years.
BYU’s
Connor Harding, Saint Mary’s
Tommy Kuhse and LMU’s
Mattias Markusson make their second straight appearance on the first team.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to his team.
