SAN MATEO, Calif. – Portland goalkeeper Bre Norris collected her third University Credit Union West Coast Conference Women’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week award of the season, while BYU midfielder Olivia Wade was tabbed the UCU WCC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, as the Conference announced its weekly honors on Monday.
 
UCU WCC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – OLIVIA WADE, JR., MF – BYU
Wade led BYU with two goals and two assists, as the Cougars posted a 6-0 win over San Francisco at home on Wednesday evening and earned a 1-1 tie at Pacific on Saturday night. Wade scored in the 15th minute for BYU to help the Cougars record the draw with the Tigers on Saturday. She also netted a score and assisted on two additional goals in the home victory over the Dons on Wednesday. BYU is unbeaten in conference play at 1-0-2.

UCU WCC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – BRE NORRIS, SO., GK – PORTLAND
Norris collected her third UCU WCC Defensive Player of the Week honor of the season, after guiding No. 15 Portland to a pair of shutouts this past week. The Pilots remain undefeated on the season at 9-0-4 after posting 2-0 wins against San Diego and No. 22 Pepperdine. Norris collected four saves in the victory over the Waves and stopped one shot in the win over the Toreros. Norris now has nine shutouts this season. Portland is one of three remaining unbeaten women's soccer teams in the nation along with UCLA (13-0-0) and South Dakota State (9-0-5). With the Pilot men’s soccer team winning on Saturday, Portland remains the only program in the nation with undefeated women's and men's soccer teams.
