SAN MATEO, Calif. – After a decisive 4-0 win over LMU, Portland swept the University Credit Union West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Players of the Week with Brandon Cambridge named the UCU WCC Offensive Player of the Week, while George Tasouris was tabbed the UCU WCC Defensive Player of the Week.  

This is Cambridge's second WCC weekly honor, while Tasouris has now won Defensive Player of the Week a league-high three times this season and twice in the last three weeks. On the year, Portland has now claimed WCC weekly honors 10 times, five on offense and five on defense. This is also the fourth time in 2022 that Portland has swept the weekly awards. 
 
UCU WCC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – BRANDON CAMBRIDGE, SO., MF – PORTLAND
Cambridge scored the game-winning goal and added an assist in Portland's 4-0 victory over LMU. It marked his second game with both a goal and an assist this season, and he's now up to 19 points on the year, the Conference leader. He is also the only player in the WCC with at least five goals and five assists this year.

UCU WCC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – GEORGE TASOURIS, SR., GK – PORTLAND
Tasouris earned another shutout and posted three saves in Portland's 4-0 win over the Lions, marking the fourth shutout of the year for the keeper and fifth for the team. The victory also gave him his 10th performance in 2022 allowing one goal or fewer.
