SAN MATEO, Calif. – LMU’s Jenna Perez picked up her third straight WCC Softball Pitcher of the Week accolade, while her teammate Georgia Blair earned WCC Player of the Week honors, giving the Lions their second sweep of the conference’s weekly awards in the last three weeks.

#WCCSPORTS PLAYER OF THE WEEK – GEORGIA BLAIR, GR., INF – LMU
Blair boasted a .474 batting average (9-for-19), including a 1.053 slugging percentage after recording three home runs. She collected eight RBI and seven runs, as well. Over the course of the week, Blair garnered three two-hit games and two three-RBI performances. Her efforts helped LMU win seven games last weekend. This is Blair's first WCC weekly honor this season and LMU's third WCC Player of the Week recognition in the last four weeks.

#WCCSPORTS PITCHER OF THE WEEK – JENNA PEREZ, SO. – LMU
Perez picked up five wins last weekend, including a complete-game victory over Utah. Currently ranking No. 19 in the nation in strikeouts, she compiled a total of 41 Ks over the five games. Perez notched 10 strikeouts in the complete-game win over the Utes and 14 in a 7-0 win over CSU Bakersfield. She's currently averaging over 11 punchouts per game. Perez now owns three of the first five WCC Softball Pitcher of the Week accolades this season.

Between both awards combined, the Lions have won six of the 10 awards thus far this season.
