SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Santa Clara's Farrah Walters collected University Credit Union West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors for the second time this season, while Taylor Poland from Saint Mary's won University Credit Union WCC Defensive Player of the Week accolades after helping the Gaels knock off Gonzaga.
UNIVERSITY CREDIT UNION WCC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – FARRAH WALTERS, SO., F – SANTA CLARA
Walters scored twice in the Broncos 5-1 win at Pacific last weekend. She now has put together back-to-back braces and has scored seven goals in the last four matches. This is Santa Clara's second Conference offensive weekly award this season, third overall, and also the second for Walters (Sept. 25).

Poland came up huge for the Gaels in Saint Mary's 1-0 win over Gonzaga. The goalkeeper amassed 10 saves against the Broncos, earning the shutout win over GU, a team that was receiving votes in last week's national poll. This is Poland's first Conference weekly honor this season and the second overall for the Gaels in 2023.
