SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Elizabeth Elliott of Pacific and Jorynn Ross of Pepperdine are the Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Women’s Basketball Players of the Week, the league announced on Monday. Elliott was voted the Conference's Player of the Week, while Ross was voted the league's Freshman of the Week.
CREDIT UNION 1 WCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ELIZABETH ELLIOTT, JR., C – PACIFIC
Elizabeth Elliott had an outstanding performance in Pacific's 90-86 comeback victory over Long Beach State last Saturday. Elliott led the Tigers with a career-high 25 points and notched six rebounds and four assists. Elliott shot 11-of-15 from the field overall and now has two 20-plus-point performances on the season and three in her career. She is currently second on the team in scoring with 14.8 points per game (4th in the WCC) and leads Pacific in rebounding at 6.7 rebounds per game (8th in the WCC).

CREDIT UNION 1 WCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – JORYNN ROSS, F – PEPPERDINE
Jorynn Ross went 5-of-6 from the floor, shooting 83.3 percent in the road win over CSU Bakersfield. The 20-point win snapped a seven-game losing streak. Ross' 11 points in Pepperdine's 80-60 win against CSUB last week was not only her career high, but also the third-straight game in which the rookie set a new career high.
