SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – A dominant performance from LMU's Jenna Perez allowed her to win University Credit Union Pitcher of the Week for the first time this season, while Santa Clara's Emma Bickford won UCU WCC Player of the Week.
UCU WCC SOFTBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – EMMA BICKFORD, SR., INF – SANTA CLARA
Emma Bickford went 7-for-8 with four RBI in three games last week, helping the Broncos win twice. The senior was retired only once in 11 plate appearances, having been hit by a pitch twice to go along with a sacrifice fly to end the week with a slashline of .875/.818/1.125. Bickford went 3-for-3 with an RBI in the first game of the week against Rhode Island. She followed with a 1-for-1 performance in the backend of the doubleheader driving in the first run of game in the first inning in the 8-0 shutout win over five winnings. In the midweek tilt against Dartmouth, Bickford went 3-for-4 and an RBI in the Broncos' 5-0 victory.

UCU WCC SOFTBALL PITCHER OF THE WEEK – JENNA PEREZ, JR. – LMU
Jenna Perez racked up a career-high 20 strikeouts in 10-plus innings of work against Fresno State on Saturday, surpassing her previous career high of 15 set against South Dakota earlier in the week. In addition to the dominant performance on Saturday, she also recorded complete-game wins over the Bulldogs (March 17) and South Dakota (March 13). In her three performances this week combined, she allowed just two earned runs and struck out a total of 46 batters. This is LMU's second UCU WCC Pitcher of the Week accolade and the third overall Conference weekly honor this season.
