Walters And Ashe Win WCC Women's Soccer Players Of The Week

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Registering a hat trick last week, Farrah Walters from Santa Clara won West Coast Conference Women's Soccer University Credit Union Offensive Player of the Week this week. Portland's Camille Ashe claimed University Credit Union WCC Defensive Player of the Week, making it three straight weeks that a Pilot has won this award.

In the final non-conference tune-up, Farrah Walters posted a hat trick during the 6-0 win over Pacific. Walters posted four shots on goal in the process. This is Santa Clara's first Conference weekly honor this season.

UNIVERSITY CREDIT UNION WCC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – CAMILLE ASHE, SR., D – PORTLAND
Ashe played the full 90 minutes in Portland's shutout victory over Cal Poly, helping the Pilots earn their seventh shutout, fifth straight, of the campaign. She also assisted on the game-winning goal.
