SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – For the first time this season, LMU garnered Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Men's Tennis weekly accolades as Max Wuelfing and Yassine Smiej from the Lions won CU1 WCC Doubles Team of the Week. San Diego earned its eighth CU1 WCC Singles Player of the Week accolades this season as Savriyan Danilov from the Toreros won the award for the first time this season.
CREDIT UNION 1 WCC SINGLES PLAYER OF THE WEEK – SAVRIYAN DANILOV, SR. – SAN DIEGO
Savriyan Danilov turned in a 2-0 week to help San Diego beat Portland and Gonzaga, each by the score of 4-0. Danilov opened with a 6-2, 6-2 win over Luka Vukovic of Portland, before besting Leon Roider of Gonzaga, 6-0, 6-1.

CREDIT UNION 1 WCC DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK – MAX WUELFING, SO., AND YASSINE SMIEJ, GR. – LMU
Max Wuelfing and Yassine Smiej dominated in a pair of WCC matchups on Friday and Saturday. The pair dropped only three sets combined during their 6-1 victory over San Francisco and their 6-2 victory over Gonzaga. The Lions captured the doubles point with both performances.
