Solans' Hat Trick Leads To WCC Men's Soccer Offensive Player Of The Week

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Notching a hat trick earned Oregon State's Sergi Solans Credit Union 1 WCC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Naji Elder of Santa Clara won Credit Union 1 WCC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.  
 
CREDIT UNION 1 WCC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – SERGI SOLANS, FR., F – OREGON STATE
Solans recorded a hat-trick against Pacific, giving him eight goals in eight games played this season. This is the second time this season the Beavers have won this Conference award.

CREDIT UNION 1 WCC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – NAJI ELDER, JR., D – SANTA CLARA
Naji Elder returned to action for the first time since the season opener, stabilizing the back line to help the Broncos battle to a scoreless draw on the road against Portland. He played 79 minutes against the Pilots. In the two games that Elder has played this season, the Broncos have not allowed a goal. This is SCU's first Conference weekly award this season.
