SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Santa Clara’s Olivia Pollerd put up big numbers to capture her second Heluva Good Dip West Coast Conference Women’s Basketball Player of the Week honor this season. Allie Turner had a career day to lead Gonzaga to a big road win and earn the Heluva Good Dip WCC Women’s Basketball Freshman of the Week award for the fourth time.
HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – OLIVIA POLLERD, SR. – SANTA CLARASanta Clara senior forward Olivia Pollerd averaged 23.5 points, 7.0 rebounds, 1.0 steal, and 2.0 blocks against Pacific and San Diego this past week. In a road setback against the Tigers, Pollerd scored a game-high 27 points on 11-of-17 shooting from the field and 3-of-4 from three-point range. She helped the Broncos bounce back with a win against San Diego, leading all scorers for the second game in a row, with 20 points, 10 rebounds, one steal and four blocks.

HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC WOMEN'S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – ALLIE TURNER, FR. – GONZAGA
Allie Turner totaled 20 points, six rebounds, five assists, and one block to lead Gonzaga to a 69-61 win at Washington State, the team’s fourth-straight victory. Turner hit 7-of-14 from the field, 4-of-10 from three-point range, and 2-of-2 from the free-throw line. Her point, rebound, and block totals tie her career highs. Turner, who has scored 20 points twice this season, is the first Zag freshman to score 20-plus points in a single game since Courtney Vandersloot achieved the feat during the 2007-08 season. Turner leads all freshmen nationally in three-point field goals per game (2.8).
