SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second-straight week, Pacific's Kiss Gergely earned a conference honor as this week's KAP7 West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo Newcomer of the Week, announced by the Conference on Tuesday. Joining Pacific teammate, Apostolos Georgaras was announced as the KAP7 West Coast Conference Men's Water Polo Player of the Week after helping the Tigers garner two top 10 victories over the weekend. These are the Tigers' fourth and fifth weekly honors of the season.
KAP7 WEST COAST CONFERENCE MEN'S WATER POLO PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KISS GERGELY, FR. – PACIFIC
Freshman goalkeeper Kiss Gergely helped Pacific go 2-0 with 27 total saves over the weekend. Gergely collected a career-high 14 saves against No. 8 Pepperdine in the Tigers 13-12 victory against the Waves on Friday. He would then follow that up on Sunday against No. 10 LMU with 13 saves in the 15-11 win over the Lions. Gergely submitted a .540 save percentage over the two games. This is his second-straight weekly recognition of the season.

KAP7 WEST COAST CONFERENCE MEN'S WATER POLO NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – APOSTOLOS GEORGARAS, FR. – PACIFIC
Apostolos Georgaras of Pacific led the Tigers' offense with seven goals over their two wins during the weekend. In the victory against Pepperdine, Georgaras started the weekend off with four goals and four steals against the Waves. In the win against LMU, Apostolos Georgaras continued great play with three goals, two assists and two steals against the Lions. This is his second conference recognition this season.
