SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Gonzaga's Graham Ike has been named an Oscar Robertson Men’s Basketball National Player of the Week by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association, the group announced on Tuesday.
Ike is one of five national honorees, along with Myles Colvin Jr., Wake Forest; Melvin Council Jr., Kansas; Dennis Parker Jr., Radford; and Lamar Wilkerson, Indiana. The USBWA men’s basketball awards are chosen from weekly conference honors.
During Gonzaga's 10-point victory over then-No. 25 UCLA in Seattle last Saturday, Ike garnered his fifth 20-point outing of the season. After scoring a season-high 28 points in his previous appearance against then-No. 18 Kentucky, Ike secured 25 points in the victory over the Bruins. To go with his five rebounds, he dished out a career-high five assists. In addition to the national recognition, Ike also collected West Coast Conference Player of the Week accolades this week, as well. It marked the second time this season he has secured conference weekly honors.

The USBWA's national player of the week program has been affiliated with the Oscar Robertson Trophy since the 2009-10 season. Prior to the 2024-25 season, the USBWA had recognized just one player each week. Each Tuesday during the regular season, designated USBWA board members select five standouts from the 31 Division I conference players of the week to be recognized. The selections are chosen from a list of the conferences that named a player of the week on Monday.
