Anders Once Again Wins West Coast Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player Of The Week

Anders scored twice against UC Riverside

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Notching another brace in a dominant win over UC Riverside, San Diego's Amanda Anders won West Coast Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Amassing 11 saves in a draw at California, Keara Fitzgerald from Washington State won West Coast Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. 
 
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – AMANDA ANDERS, FR., F – SAN DIEGO
Securing her second brace of the season, Anders scored her third and fourth goals of 2025 in the fourth game of the season as USD defeated UC Riverside 6-0 on Sunday. Anders scored both goals in 43 minutes played off the bench. The Toreros own three conference weekly awards this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – KEARA FITZGERALD, SR., GK – WASHINGTON STATE
Keara Fitzgerald made a career-high 11 saves at California, earning her first shutout of the season, the most saves by a Cougar goalkeeper since 2020 and also the first double-digit WSU save performance since 2021. This is Washington State's first conference recognition this season.
