SAN BRUNO, Calif. – West Coast Conference longtime broadcast partners ESPN and CBS Sports will air a combined 21 men’s basketball games nationwide across their networks during the 2026-27 season, featuring 18 conference matchups and a trio of marquee non-conference clashes.
ESPN networks will televise a dozen regular-season contests with at least 10 on ESPN2 and on five separate days of the week – Tuesday through Saturday. Coverage begins with a pair of WCC-A10 non-conference tilts on ESPN2 as Santa Clara hosts VCU on Nov. 19 and Saint Mary’s welcomes Saint Louis on Nov. 20. The Broncos and Gaels will battle twice on ESPN2 – midway through league play on Jan. 30 and the final day of the regular season on Feb. 27.
Nine conference contests will air on CBS Sports Network, with games also showing on five separate days of the week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday) starting with the opening day of league play on Jan. 2 as San Diego visits Saint Mary’s in a matchup between first-year head coaches JR Blount and Mickey McConnell.
In addition to its 12-game regular-season package, ESPN networks will also be home for five games of the reformatted
Credit Union 1 West Coast Conference Men’s Basketball Championship, which returns to Orleans Arena in Las Vegas for the 19th consecutive year. The 10-team, four-round tournament will be held March 5-9, 2027, featuring a pair of quarterfinal contests and both semifinals on ESPN networks and the title game on ESPN or ESPN2.
WCC men’s basketball regular season games that are not nationally televised on ESPN or CBS Sports Network, will be available on
ESPN+, the leading sports streaming service. Blackout restrictions apply in certain local markets. All games that are televised on an ESPN network will also be available on ESPN’s new direct-to-consumer service and on the ESPN app.
CBS Sports Network is widely available through all major cable, satellite and telco distributors as well as via OTT streaming service providers YouTube TV, fuboTV, DirecTV and Hulu. Additionally, a live CBS Sports Network stream is available through CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports App by authenticating with select providers.
West Coast Conference men’s basketball teams earned three bids to the 2026 NCAA Tournament, marking multiple selections for a record seventh consecutive tournament and 12th time in the last 14 events. Saint Mary’s earned an NCAA bid for a record fifth consecutive season, while Santa Clara competed in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1996. This marked the first time since 2022 and the fourth time in conference history (2022, 2012, 2008) the conference boasted three NCAA bids.
