Thirty West Coast Conference Basketball Student-Athletes Recognized On CSC Academic All-District Team

Twenty-three women's basketball student-athletes earned the honor

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - A combined 30 West Coast Conference men's and women's basketball student-athletes were recognized on the College Sports Communicators 2025-26 Academic All-District team, as announced by the organization. 

Twenty-three of the West Coast Conference's honorees came from women's basketball and seven from men's basketball. The honorees are the most for the West Coast Conference, both collectively and for men's and women's basketball, since at least 2002. 

The 2025-26 CSC Academic All-District Men's and Women's Basketball Teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.

For women's basketball, Portland and Santa Clara led the way with four honorees each, while Oregon State and Saint Mary’s each had three honorees. LMU, Pepperdine, Seattle U and Washington State each had a pair of individuals honored and Gonzaga had one honoree. 

The full list includes Allie Turner (Gonzaga), Carly Heidger (LMU), Maya Hernandez (LMU), Kennedie Shuler (Oregon State), Tiara Bolden (Oregon State), Ally Schimel (Oregon State), Elli Guiney (Pepperdine), Taija Sta. Maria (Pepperdine), Lainey Spear (Portland), Ella Zimmerman (Portland), Dyani Ananiev (Portland), Rhyan Mogel (Portland),  Charlece Ohiaeri (Saint Mary's), Addi Wedin (Saint Mary’s), Abigail Shoff (Saint Mary’s), Ava Schmidt (Santa Clara), Maia Jones (Santa Clara), Ashley Hawkins (Santa Clara), Kylee Fox (Santa Clara), Tamia Stricklin (Seattle U), Sydnie Rodriguez (Seattle U), Eleonora Villa (Washington State), Charlotte Abraham (Washington State).

Abraham, Bolden, Hawkins, Jones, Shuler and Villa will advance to for consideration for the CSC Academic All-America Teams, which will be announced April 15. 

The seven selections for West Coast Conference men's basketball are Braeden Smith (Gonzaga), Dez White (Oregon State), Jake Ensminger (Santa Clara), Austin Maurer (Seattle U), Parker Gerrits (Washington State), Eemeli Yalaho (Washington State) and Adria Rodriguez (Washington State).
