SAN BRUNO, Calif. – San Francisco swept this week's West Coast Conference Men's Soccer player of the week awards after the Dons took down No. 15 Kansas City last Sunday. Nico Ruiz won Offensive Player of the Week and Williams Krause won Defensive Player of the Week. These are USF's first conference weekly awards this season.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – NICO RUIZ, SO., MF – SAN FRANCISCO
Nico Ruiz scored twice in San Francisco's 3-2 win over No. 15 Kansas City, earning his first career brace. Ruiz converted on a cross from Brayden Beason in the opening minutes of the contest to give the Dons an early lead. Ruiz netted his second goal of the night in the 74th minute to make it 3-1, a goal which proved to be the game-winning goal. For the week, Ruiz finished with two goals, five shots (two on goal) and four points.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – WILLIAM KRAUSE, SR., GK – SAN FRANCISCO
William Krause made a big impact in USF's 3-2 road win at No. 15 Kansas City. Making his first start in goal this season, and his first appearance since Oct. 15, 2025 at Pacific, Krause collected six saves off of 19 shots. The six saves marked a career high.
