As the Associate Commissioner for Championships at the West Coast Conference, Amy Reis brings more than 15 years of professional experiences in championships oversight. Reis ensures execution of the Conference's championships, serves as staff liaison to the WCC Championships Committee and as sport administrator for women’s beach volleyball, women's volleyball and men's soccer. She serves as the West Coast Conference liaison to the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation (MPSF), and oversees the WCC's marketing and promotions initiatives.
Reis has spent the last seven years at the NCAA, including the last three years as the Associate Director of Championships and Alliances. In this capacity, Reis managed 25 Division II national championship events from budgetary to on-site event execution, including the Division II National Championships Festival, while coordinating more than 28 full-time national staff members and hundreds of local organizing committee staff and volunteers. Additionally, she was the primary NCAA Championships and Alliances liaison to the Division II Championships Committee, Division II Management Council, Division II Planning and Finance Committee and Division II President’s Council. Reis’ NCAA management role also lead to her serving as the primary contact with the Division II Conference Commissioner’s Association (CCA) and Division II Athletic’s Directors Association (D2ADA).
Before joining the NCAA, Reis served as the Director of Marketing and Promotions at Eastern Illinois, Director of Community Relations and Group Sales for the Quad City Mallards Professional Hockey organization, and Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator for the Geelong SuperCats Professional Basketball Team in the Southeastern Australian Basketball League.
Reis has a bachelor's degree from the University of Nebraska-Kearney where she majored in journalism/public relations and minored in sports administration.
