Annalisa Duarte joined the West Coast Conference in September of 2017 as the Championships and Sport Administration Intern. In her role, Duarte is responsible for assisting in the planning and execution of all WCC championships, as well as providing support in sport administration as needed.
In addition to her internship with the WCC, Duarte also works as a Program Manager for the City of Union City’s Community and Recreation Services department. Duarte, a Bay Area native, earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from San Diego State while competing as a student-athlete on the women’s rowing team.
Duarte switched roles from student-athlete to coach following graduation, serving as a volunteer assistant for the Aztecs while pursuing and later earning her Master’s degree from San Diego State in Liberal Arts and Science with an emphasis in Women in Sports.
