Since joining the WCC in 2013, Ezra Broder has been in charge of the conference’s video operations. He is the executive producer and host of “WCC All-Access,” a monthly television show that airs in millions of homes across the West Coast. The show won a 2019 SVG/NACDA College Sports Media Award for “Best Program Series,” and has twice been a finalist in that category.
He oversees the daily operations of the conference’s digital platform, WCC Network, including the hundreds of annual live broadcasts and on-demand video features. Under his oversight, WCC Network has been nominated for eleven SVG/NACDA College Sports Media Awards, two Northern California Emmy awards, and one Telly Award.
Broder is the liaison between the conference office and the video managers at its ten member institutions, and serves as chair of the Video Administrators Group within the WCC’s governance structure.
Previously, Broder worked in local television markets across the country as a sports anchor and reporter. His stops include Farmington, New Mexico (NBC), Rochester, Minnesota (ABC) and Springfield, Massachusetts (CBS), where he won four Associated Press (AP) awards and was nominated for a New England Emmy award for "Best Sports Series" for an episode of “UMass Sports Insider.”
Born and raised in Waterbury, Connecticut, Broder earned a B.S. in Broadcast Journalism from Syracuse University.
