Glenn Layendecker serves as the Senior Associate Commissioner for Business and Operations/Chief Financial Officer for the West Coast Conference. In this role, Layendecker manages the conference's business affairs. He serves as the Conference liaison to the Finance Cabinet and the Audit and Investment Committees, and is also the sport administrator for men's and women's tennis.
Layendecker joined the WCC in March 2014 after serving as the Associate Athletic Director for Business and External Relations at the University of Portland. In that role, Layendecker oversaw sponsorships and ticketing, budgeting and planning for Portland's intercollegiate teams, and the day-to-day financial operations within the athletic department. Prior to his time at University of Portland, Layendecker was a member of the founding team at QuinStreet, Inc., a technology startup. He previously worked as an analyst for a financial services firm.
Layendecker earned his Bachelor of Arts at Yale University, where he was All-Ivy in tennis. He went on to play tennis on the ATP Tour for nine years, rising to the top-50 in singles and top-35 in doubles. He was twice a quarterfinalist in doubles at the US Open.
