Colleen Lim joined the West Coast Conference in October of 2009 as the Associate Commissioner for Governance and Administration, and was promoted to Senior Associate Commissioner in August of 2011.
In her role with the WCC, Lim serves as the Conference SWA and oversees the internal operations of the Conference office including human resources, business operations and compliance and students services. Her primary responsibilities include oversight of the WCC governance structure, lead for the WCC Executive Council meetings and liaison to the Strategic Planning & Leadership Cabinet, the Faculty Athletics Representatives and the Administration & Operations Cabinet and is the sports administration liaison for women's volleyball, women's basketball and men's and women's tennis. Lim also currently is a member of the NCAA Division I Women's Volleyball Committee.
Before coming to the WCC, Lim spent two years as an Assistant Dean of Admission at Stanford University. Lim also worked at Yale University for 17 years and was very active in the NCAA governance structure, having chaired the Division I Women's Soccer Committee and the Division I Field hockey Committee while also serving on the Committee on Athletics Certification, the Championships and Competition Cabinet and the Initial Eligibility Waivers Committee. At Yale, Lim managed the Yale Athletics internal operations for 33 varsity sport programs and supervised the men's and women's basketball, baseball, softball, women's volleyball, men's and women's soccer, men's and women's fencing, women's gymnastics and women's lacrosse programs.
Lim received her Bachelor's degree from the University of California, Berkeley and a Master's degree from Stanford University.
