WCC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)

Mission:
To enhance the student-athlete experience.

Charge:
The Student-Athlete Advocacy Committee (SAAC) of the West Coast Conference (WCC) is charged with advocating for student-athlete well-being, encouraging positive sportsmanship and participating in community outreach efforts; all of which are accomplished by demonstrating leadership on campus, facilitating communication within the Conference, and engaging in National SAAC initiatives and issues.

Values:
The WCC SAAC Mission focuses on the two initiatives reflective of the student-athletes' and Conference's values, including 1) UPLIFT: which supports the community service opportunities and promotion of positive sportsmanship, and 2) student-athlete wellbeing: supporting personal growth (mind, body, and spirit) and leadership development of student-athletes. Annually the WCC SAAC create goals based on these pillars.
