Jordan Barajas is the Assistant Director, Operations/Assistant to the Commissioner for the West Coast Conference. He joined the conference in November of 2023, as the Assistant to the Commissioner/Office Manager.
In his role, Barajas is responsible for coordinating and managing daily administrative tasks, supporting the Commissioner with scheduling and correspondence, assisting visitors and callers, and effective communication with WCC management and member institutions. He also leads in managing and coordinating WCC internal office operations.
Prior to joining the WCC, Barajas served as a Sports Management Fellow in Basketball at the Pac-12 Conference through the McLendon Foundation’s Minority Leadership Initiative. He supported the associate commissioners for both men’s and women’s basketball, assisting with daily operations, game management and officiating, among other responsibilities.
He spent four seasons as a student manager for the Stanford men’s basketball program from 2017-2021 before spending a fifth and final season as a graduate manager during the 2021-22 season.
Barajas is a two-time graduate of Stanford University. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in sociology in 2021 and earned a master’s degree in communication from Stanford in 2022.
