Doug Drabik serves as the Associate Commissioner for Communications and Broadcast, joining the West Coast Conference office in 2019. He oversees the Conference's strategic communications and broadcast administration, including its media rights partnerships with ESPN and CBS. 

Drabik owns 22 years of experience in collegiate athletic administration. He joined the WCC after serving four years in the athletic communications office at Stanford University. Drabik directed all media relations and digital efforts for the Stanford men’s basketball, men’s tennis and men’s water polo programs. He also managed the NCAA awards nomination process and served on the host committee of several NCAA Championship events on campus. Stanford programs won 21 national championships during his four years with the Cardinal, capturing the Learfield IMG Director’s Cup as the NCAA’s top collegiate athletic department each year.
 
Prior to Stanford, Drabik spent four years at the University of California, overseeing the publicity efforts for the nationally-ranked men’s basketball program. During his time in Berkeley, Drabik directed the retirement announcement of National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame head coach Mike Montgomery and served as the executive producer for “This Week in Cal Athletics.” He later led publicity efforts for Montgomery’s Hall of Fame induction.
 
A New Jersey native, Drabik spent six years in the Rutgers University Athletic Communications Office, where he supported the football and baseball programs, and oversaw production of the “R Football” television show. He began his career in collegiate athletic administration as the Sports Information Director at Steven’s Institute of Technology in Hoboken, New Jersey.
