Glenn Layendecker joined the WCC in March 2014 and serves as the Senior Associate Commissioner for Business and Operations and Chief Financial Officer for the West Coast Conference. In this role, Layendecker manages the conference's business affairs. He serves as the Conference liaison to the Finance Cabinet and the Audit and Investment Committees and is also the sport administrator for men's and women's tennis. Layendecker served on the NCAA Tennis Committee from 2018 to 2022, serving as its Chair in 2021-22.
Layendecker previously served as the Associate Athletic Director for Business and External Relations at the University of Portland. Prior to his time at University of Portland, Layendecker was a member of the founding team at QuinStreet, Inc., a technology startup. He previously worked as an analyst for a financial services firm.
Layendecker earned his Bachelor of Arts at Yale University, where he was a three-time All-Ivy selection in tennis. He went on to play tennis on the ATP Tour for nine years, rising to the top fifty in singles and top thirty-five in doubles. He was twice a quarterfinalist in doubles at the US Open.
