WCC Announces 2015 Women's Cross Country All-Academic Team
SAN BRUNO, Calif. -- The West Coast Conference is pleased to announce the 2015 Cross Country All-Academic Team. This team is a first year honor to all ten members highlighting the competitive nature of this accolade, the high caliber of competition within the conference and the continued academic excellence of the member institutions.
This season, 31 nominated women's cross country student-athletes posted a GPA of 3.50 or better, 20 of which recorded a mark of 3.75 or higher, three posted a perfect 4.00 GPA.
At the conclusion of each athletic season, the WCC selects an all-academic squad for each WCC-sponsored sport. To be considered, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative grade point average, while also being a significant contributor to her team.
