SAN MATEO, Calif. – Kristen Garcia of Gonzaga was named the WCC University Credit Union Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week as announced by the Conference on Tuesday. 
 
WCC UCU WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – KRISTEN GARCIA, SR.  – GONZAGA
Garcia took first overall at the Gonzaga Dual last weekend, shattering the program's 4K record during her first race of the fall. Her 12:50.7 time led seven Zags in the Top 10, and a Top 6 that ran the six fastest 4K times in program history in succession.
