SAN MATEO, Calif. – Ruby Smee of San Francisco was named the West Coast Conference's first Women's Runner of the Week for the 2022 season as announced by the Conference on Tuesday. 
 
WCC WOMEN'S RUNNER OF THE WEEK – RUBY SMEE, JR.  – SAN FRANCISCO
The 2021 All-American started the 2022 campaign on the right foot as Smee placed fifth in the 6,000 meter run for the Dons at the 2022 USF Invitational on Saturday. Smee clocked in with a time of 21:11.2.
