SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Mihailo Vukazic of Pacific and Luke Baird from Santa Clara are this week's KAP7 WCC Men's Water Polo Players of the Week, announced by the Conference on Tuesday. Vukazic was named KAP7 WCC Player of the Week for the second time this season, while Baird was named KAP7 WCC Newcomer of the Week.
KAP7 WCC MEN'S WATER POLO PLAYER OF THE WEEK – MIHAILO VUKAZIC, SR. – PACIFIC
Mihailo Vukazic averaged three goals per game last week, leading the fourth-ranked Tigers to a pair of wins. Vukazic tallied four goals against No. 9 Long Beach State after scoring a pair against No. 12 San Jose State. Pacific is one of two teams in the country still unbeaten, with an 11-0 record, its best start since 2016.

KAP7 WCC MEN'S WATER POLO NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK – LUKE BAIRD, R-FR. – SANTA CLARA
Luke Baird totaled seven goals, four steals, three field blocks and an assist with two multi-goal performances last weekend as he helped lead No. 17 Santa Clara to a perfect 3-0. Baird tied for the game high with a season-best four goals against host Cal State Fullerton then followed up with two more goals against Concordia Irvine. Baird added his seventh goal in the Broncos' win over Biola. This is the second overall newcomer of the week award earned by Santa Clara this season.
