SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – For the first time this season a West Coast Conference volleyball player won two of the Credit Union One WCC Players of the Week as Pepperdine's Ella Piskorz claimed both the Credit Union One WCC Defensive Player of the Week and Credit Union One Freshman of the Week honors. Pacific's Alexa Edwards won Credit Union One WCC Offensive Player of the Week. 
 
CREDIT UNION ONE WCC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ALEXA EDWARDS, GR., OH – PACIFIC
Alexa Edwards helped Pacific extend its winning streak to six with three wins last weekend. She led all teams in all matches in kills on the weekend. In the finale against Grand Canyon, Pacific held a 5-1 scoring streak in the fourth set, all five points were kills from Edwards to lead the Tigers to their first program win over GCU. She also garnered 20 kills against Portland State, the third time she's done so this season. She also matched a season high with two aces against Butler and a season-high hitting percentage. This is Pacific's first Conference award this season.

CREDIT UNION ONE WCC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ELLA PISKORZ, FR., MB – PEPPERDINE
Ella Piskorz paced Pepperdine with 25 blocks (three solo) during the past week. She recorded seven blocks against No. 2 Stanford and five against No. 1 Pitt, both of which led the team.

CREDIT UNION ONE WCC FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – ELLA PISKORZ, FR., MB – PEPPERDINE
Ella Piskorz led Pepperdine in blocks with 25 (three solo) in four games, two of which were against the top two teams in the nation in No. 1 Pitt and No. 2 Stanford. Her 2.37 points per set were third-most on the team during last week's stretch of play. She set a career high with 10 blocks in Pepperdine's reverse sweep of Omaha. Against UC Santa Barbara, her sixth and final kill at the net sealed the sweep, plus her six total blocks topped all Waves. These are the second and third Pepperdine Conference awards this season.
