Notes And Quotes From WCC Men's Basketball POINTS IN THE PAINT Podcast With Wayne Tinkle

Sean Farnham and Dave Flemming discuss the WCC's strong start this season

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - Oregon State head coach Wayne Tinkle joins hosts Dave Flemming and Sean Farnham as the first featured guest on the WCC POINTS IN THE PAINT men's basketball podcast this week. Oregon State is one of six WCC teams currently in the top 75 in the NET rankings, as West Coast Conference men's basketball is striving towards being one of top conferences in the nation this season.

"The WCC is as well positioned as it's ever been to get four teams in the NCAA Tournament. It's been a historic non-conference schedule, which has the WCC ranked seventh in KenPom as the seventh-best conference in the country." - Sean Farnham.

Tinkle discusses building this year's team together in their first season playing in the West Coast Conference. Tinkle also dives into the strength of the league and how he prepares his squad for league play.

"We couldn't be happier to be joining the WCC, which has been such a great conference. Ourselves and Washington State add to the depth. The conference has done a really good job of building from top to bottom in the last few years." - Oregon State head coach Wayne Tinkle.

Farnham and Flemming chat about how well the WCC played during the non-conference portion of the season and preview Saturday's contest between San Francisco and Washington State.
