SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second straight week and fourth time this season, Portland's Austin Rapp won Heluva Good Dip West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Freshman of the Week. LMU's Jevon Porter won Heluva Good Dip WCC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the second time this season, as well.   

HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC MEN'S BASKETBALL CO-PLAYER OF THE WEEK – JEVON PORTER, JR., F – LMU
Jevon Porter led the Lions to two wins last week, extending LMU's win streak in conference to five games, the program's longest since 1991. Porter recorded back-to-back double-doubles, his sixth and seventh of the year. His seven double-doubles on the year rank him in the top five in the league. Porter averaged 13.0 points, 11.0 rebounds, 2.5 steals, 1.5 assists, and a block in the two wins, playing 30.0 minutes a game. In Thursday's home win over Portland, Porter scored 12 points and grabbed 10 rebounds with three steals, two assists and a block. He followed that performance with 14 points, 12 rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist in LMU's first win at San Diego since 2017. Porter previously won Conference Player of the Week on Dec. 2. He owns both of LMU's Conference weekly awards this season.

HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC MEN'S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – AUSTIN RAPP, FR., F – PORTLAND
Austin Rapp averaged 16.5 points and 5.5 rebounds in two games last week against San Diego and Gonzaga. He finished with 17 points, eight rebounds, three assists, a steal and a blocked shot in Portland's 92-82 win against the Toreros. Earlier in the week against the Bulldogs, Rapp posted 16 points, including shooting 4-for-7 from three-point range, along with three rebounds, an assist and a blocked shot. Rapp owns four of Portland's five conference weekly awards this season.
