SAN BRUNO, Calif. – After scoring 40 points at Washington State, Lamar Washington of Pacific won Heluva Good Dip West Coast Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. For the second straight week and the third time this season, Mikey Lewis of Saint Mary's won Heluva Good Dip WCC Freshman of the Week.  
 
HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC MEN'S BASKETBALL PLAYER OF THE WEEK – LAMAR WASHINGTON, JR., G – PACIFIC
Lamar Washington propelled Pacific to a 95-94 overtime win at Washington State. He drilled a three-pointer at the buzzer to win the game, capping off his career-high 40-point night. Washington was 16-for-22 from the field and 4-for-6 from the three-point line. Washington followed that game with a double-figure scoring performance last Saturday against Oregon State. This is Pacific's first Conference weekly award this season.

HELUVA GOOD DIP WCC MEN'S BASKETBALL FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – MIKEY LEWIS, FR., G – SAINT MARY'S
Mikey Lewis scored nine of the Gaels' 11 points over a six-minute span against LMU last Tuesday, helping SMC extend its lead to 19-9 before eventually winning, 81-56. During the Gaels' 103-56 win over San Diego, Lewis led all scorers with 18 points, missing just once from the field, setting season bests in field goal percentage (87.5) and three-point percentage (80). Lewis now owns four of the seven Conference weekly awards for the Gaels this season.
