Portland's Waggoner Named West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week

Pacific earns its first conference weekly award this season

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – After last week's big win over San Diego, Portland's Alex Waggoner was tabbed West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Earning a shutout in his first career start, Milo Risenhoover of Pacific won West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week. 

WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ALEX WAGGONER, JR., F – PORTLAND
Alex Waggoner scored the game-winning goal for No. 6 Portland in last Friday's win over No. 12 San Diego, marking his third goal of the season and his second game-winning goal. This is the second time that Portland has won conference Offensive Player of the Week and the Pilots now own five conference weekly awards overall in 2025.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – MILO RISENHOOVER, JR., GK – PACIFIC
Making his first career start at Pacific, Milo Risenhoover recorded his first shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over Saint Mary's. Risenhoover amassed five saves in the victory. This is the first conference weekly award for the Tigers this season.
