SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Helping San Diego clinch its fourth straight West Coast Conference men's soccer championship, Iain Wagner from San Diego won West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week. Portland's Miguel-Angel Hernandez garnered West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week after shutting out Saint Mary's.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – IAIN WAGNER, SO., M – SAN DIEGO
Iain Wagner scored a goal and earned an assist in San Diego's victory over Oregon State to secure a fourth straight conference title. Wagner found the back of the net for the eighth time this season and recorded three points to help San Diego become the first WCC men's soccer program to win four consecutive West Coast Conference championships in men's soccer. This is Wagner's first conference weekly award this season and the fifth for USD this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – MIGUEL-ANGEL HERNANDEZ, JR., GK – PORTLAND
Miguel-Angel Hernandez posted his eighth shutout, collecting three saves in the shutout victory against Saint Mary's. All three saves came in the second half to fend off the Gaels' attack, as Saint Mary's recorded 19 total shots. His efforts helped Portland collect its 13th win of the year, the Pilots most in the regular season since 1995. This is the third conference weekly award for Hernandez and the sixth for the Pilots in 2025.
