Oregon State Finishes 18th At NCAA Rowing Championships

The Beavers' Second Varsity Eight won its D Final

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. - Oregon State completed its 2025 season at the NCAA Rowing Championships at Lake Mercer in West Windsor, N.J. The Beavers finished 18th overall, represented by its Varsity Eight, Second Varsity Eight and Varsity Four boats, who transferred to the C and D Finals on Sunday. 

The Beavers' Second Varsity Eight won its D Final on Sunday morning, highlighting the weekend for Oregon State.

On Friday, all of Oregon State's boats raced in heats to determine where they would line up for Saturday's semifinals. Each of the three boats advanced to its respective C/D semifinals after day one of racing.

During the semifinals, the Beavers' Varsity Four finished with a time of 7:13.757, advancing as one of two teams from its semifinal to Sunday's C Final. The Second Varsity Eight boat put up a time of 6:33.900 and transferred into the D Final. The Varsity Eight followed with a 6:20.899, and the Beavers headed for the C Final in that classification. 

Once final scores were added up Sunday, Oregon State finished 18th with 33 points. The Varsity Four boat raced first on championship day, putting together a time of 7:21.125 and placing fourth in the C Final. Following right after, the Second Varsity Eight boat took part in the D Final, winning the race with a time of 6:41.169. Lastly, the Varsity Eight closed out the day for Oregon State with a time of 6:26.071, and finishing fifth in the C Final.
