SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Picking up two victories over two teams receiving votes in the men's soccer national preseason poll in UC Santa Barbara and Washington, Fabian Straudi and Iker Carbonell Garcia of Oregon State earned West Coast Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week honors. Straudi won West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week while Carbonell Garcia claimed West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week.

Fabian Straudi registered a goal and two assists during the big wins over UC Santa Barbara and Washington. He scored and picked up an assist over the Gauchos, while garnering another assist in the 2-1 win over the Huskies.

Iker Carbonell Garcia collected four assists, propelling the Beavers over UC Santa Barbara and Washington. He notched two assists in each victory over the Gauchos and the Huskies. His defensive efforts also kept UC Santa Barbara off the scoresheet during the 3-0 win over the Gauchos.
