Waves Win Two West Coast Conference Volleyball Weekly Honors

Alana Marrs repeats as Freshman of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second straight week, Oregon State's Alana Marrs won West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week while Pepperdine captured two West Coast Conference Volleyball weekly accolades with Ella Piskorz winning Defensive Player of the Week and Tristen Raymond winning Setter of the Week. San Diego's Isabel Clark won West Coast Conference Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week.  
 
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ISABEL CLARK, SO., OH – SAN DIEGO
Isabel Clark totaled 56 kills (4.00 K/S) while hitting .276 last weekend. She posted 15 kills (3.75 K/S) against Yale, added 16 more at San Diego State while hitting .282, and then posted a career-high 25 kills against UC San Diego, averaging 5.00 K/S and hitting .321. This is Clark's first conference weekly award this season and the fifth overall for the Toreros.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ELLA PISKORZ, SO., MB – PEPPERDINE
Ella Piskorz led the Waves with 1.44 blocks per set and 23 total blocks in four matches last weekend. She tied her season high with eight total blocks and five digs against UC Santa Barbara, along with a season-high 14 kills in the come-from-behind win. She tied her career high with 14 kills against Milwaukee and led all players with six total blocks. This is the first conference weekly award for Piskorz this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK – ALANA MARRS, FR., MB – OREGON STATE
The reigning West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week, Alana Marrs secured 26 combined kills in two matches, including 15 in the win over Portland State last Saturday. She tallied a combined .435 clip with just six total errors. Defensively, Marrs posted two digs and five total blocks. Oregon State now owns three conference weekly awards this season.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE SETTER OF THE WEEK – TRISTEN RAYMOND, FR., RS – PEPPERDINE
Tristen Raymond set three career highs in four matches last week while leading Pepperdine with 4.94 assists per set. Raymond amassed a 28-assist, 16-dig double-double against Grand Canyon, both of which were career highs, and then just missed another double-double with a career-high nine kills and 17 assists in the win against Milwaukee. Raymond posted multiple service aces in three out of the four matches last week, bringing her yearly total to 15. Pepperdine now owns two conference weekly awards this season.
