SAN BRUNO, Calif. – For the second time this season, San Diego garnered multiple of the West Coast Conference's Volleyball weekly awards with Nemo Beach capturing West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week and Ava Durgan winning West Coast Conference Freshman of the Week.
WEST COAST CONFERENCE OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – NEMO BEACH, JR., OH – SAN DIEGO
Nemo Beach totaled 40 kills (.273), four assists, and one service ace as San Diego beat Pepperdine in Malibu and defeated LMU at home last weekend to begin conference play 2-0. Beach added 16 kills and two assists in the Toreros' 3-1 victory in Malibu Thursday night before adding 24 more while hitting .327, two assists and a service ace as USD held on to beat the Lions 3-2 in San Diego on Saturday. This is the second time this season that Nemo Beach has won conference player of the week.

WEST COAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK – ALANA MARRS, FR., MB – OREGON STATE
Alana Marrs accumulated 12 total blocks during an undefeated weekend for Oregon State, averaging 1.71 per set. She also boasted a trio of solo blocks in each match played, in addition to five assisted blocks in the four-set win against Saint Mary's. This marks the third conference weekly award for Marrs this season.

Ava Durgan helped San Diego earn a wild win over LMU last Saturday, tallying eight kills while hitting .429. She added two digs and a solo block as the Toreros defeated the Lions 3-2 at home to open conference play 2-0. USD now owns seven conference awards this season.

During a sweep over Pacific, Havannah Hoeft delivered a match-high 19 assists. She followed that with a season-best 45 assists and 11 digs during the 3-2 win over Saint Mary's, marking her fourth double-double of the year. This is Hoeft's first conference weekly award this year and the second for the Pilots this year.
